ADMINISTRATIVE
STAFF BIOS
Eric Altheide, Managing Producer
Eric
started out in theatre as an actor, working professionally in
New York and regional theatres across the country. Some of his
theatre credits include Guildenstern in Rosencrantz and
Guildenstern are Dead at Westport Playhouse, Davey in
Fixed at the Hanger Theatre, Hal in Proof at the
Georgestreet Playhouse, and Jack in Moonchild at
FringeNYC 2004 and the Nazi Guard in Summit Conference
Off-Broadway. His television and film credits include All My
Children and The Producers: The Movie Musical.
Originally from Evansville, Indiana, family brought him back to
Southern Indiana where he played the role of Customer Service
Manager and eventually Regional HR Recruiter at Fifth Third Bank
until joining the staff of Lincoln Amphitheatre and the World
Premiere of LINCOLN. Eric is a graduate of the University of
Evansville and New York University's Graduate Acting Program.
Brandi Weyer,
Communications Director
Brandi Weyer
graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2008 with
Bachelor of Arts degrees in advertising, print journalism ,and
Spanish along with minors in marketing and management.
Post-graduation,
she continued her position for a year and a half as the seasonal
Assistant Manager of the Merchandise Department at Holiday World
& Splashin’ Safari until landing a job as the Communications
Director for Lincoln Amphitheatre.
As Communications
Director, she is in charge of all advertising, public relations,
and group sales efforts for the Amphitheatre.
Rachel Carver, Administrative Assistant
Rachel Carver
recently graduated from Harrison College with a bachelor of
science in accounting. She worked at Holiday World as an Intern
in the Shared Service department. During her internship she
gained experience in general accounting, accounts payable, and
purchasing procedures. She also assisted in various departments
including Human Resource with data entry tasks.
Rachel is the
Administrative Assistant here at the Amphitheatre. After
watching the show last year she fell in love with the
amphitheatre. When the position became available she knew that
she had to apply.
Rachel is in
charge of accounting tasks, including accounts payable and
receivable. She answers any questions that she receives, and if
she doesn’t have the answer she finds it for them. She helps
with ticket orders, our donor program, and administrative tasks
for other departments. She believes that every opportunity is a
learning experience and is thrilled to work for the
Amphitheatre.

BIOS
Ken Jones, Playwright
Ken
Jones is an award winning playwright and screenwriter. He
received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from the
University of Florida, a Master of Fine Arts degree in
Playwriting from the University of Virginia and continued on to
graduate in Playwriting from the Institute for Advanced Theatre
Training at Harvard University. Jones participated in the
Warner Bros. Television Writer’s Workshop and went to serve as
the head writer for development of animation, television and
film for Lightpoint Entertainment at Disney/MGM Studios. Jones
began his playwriting career with an Off-Broadway production of
his play, A RED EAGLE FALLING, which was followed by his
critically acclaimed drama, DARKSIDE. His play DARKSIDE was
chosen as TIME Magazine’s Critic Choice and was awarded the
Delauney Playwriting Award, the Denver Prima facie Award, and
the POST-Corbett Award. Jones has had over 400 productions of
his 27 produced plays, with 7 published, and listings in several
anthologies and monologue books. He has been produced in eight
countries. In addition to the awards mentioned, he has received
a Telly Award, a Communicator’s Award, the Post-Corbett award
for Best Literary Artist, the Dupont Fellowship, the Kentucky
Commonwealth Theatre Award, the Kentucky Playwright’s Award,
several Acclaim Awards and an Emmy nomination. Jones is
currently playwright-in-residence and the Rosenthal Endowed
Chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance at Northern
Kentucky University.
R. Scott Lank, Artistic Director
Scott's professional experience includes major
positions as director, actor, production manager, and playwright
for the Chautuaqua Theatre Conservatory, Spoleto Festival, Hope
Summer Repertory Theatre, Joffrey II Dancers, Paul Taylor
Dancers, Sewanee Writers’ Retreat, William Inge Theatre Fesitval,
Edward Albee Theatre Festival, New York Ensemble Studio Theatre,
Houston Shakespeare Festival, Barter Theatre, New Harmony
Theatre, New Harmony Project, the Actors Center, Opera Omaha,
the Lark Theatre, Canadian Stage Company, and Founder/Artistic
Director of the Illinois Stage Company in Chicago. He has
directed over sixty productions, many of which have appeared at
the Kennedy Center as part of the Kennedy Center/American
College Theatre Festival. He is a member of the National
Congress of Actors and Acting Teachers and the Society of Stage
Directors and Choreographers.
Eric Renschler, Scenic Designer
Renschler's
Broadway designs include scenery for As Long as You Both
Shall Laugh (which included a national tour and PBS special)
and Mamaloshen. His off-Broadway credits include designs
at the New York Shakespeare Festival, Circle Repertory Company,
Pan-Asian Repertory Theatre, Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre, and
the Julliard School. As an associate of designer John Lee
Beatty, he was involved in over 40 Broadway productions and
tours, including The Color Purple, Doubt, Who’s Afraid of
Virginia Woolf, Footloose, Proof, Wonderful Town, The Redwood
Curtain and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Renschler holds a MFA in Theatre Design from the University of
Michigan, a BA from the University of Evansville, and is a
member of IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage
Employees) and USA (United Scenic Artists).
Michael Nevitt,
Lighting and Projection Designer
Michael
has over 20 years of design experience. As Resident Lighting
Designer for 13 seasons at the Hope Summer Repertory Theatre in
Holland, Michigan, he designed scenery and/or lighting for over
40 theatrical productions. He was part of the design team for
development of several successful lighting/video control systems
with Flying Pig Systems and Martin Professional. Nevitt
currently is on staff at Creative Stage Lighting where he serves
as Product Manager. He oversees various product ranges
including Compulite control systems and JB Lighting automated
fixtures. His production highlights includes the motion
pictures: The Grinch, Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas,
Miss Congeniality and Batman & Robin. In
addition, he has been involved with hundreds of theatre,
concert tours, television and live event productions, including
top events like the Salt Lake Olympics, Super Bowl
Half-time show, Deal or No Deal and the Ryder Cup
Opening Ceremonies.
Brad Berridge,
Sound Designer
Brad
is originally from Newburgh, Indiana, and is excited to return
home. He began his career at Lincoln Amphitheatre in 1996
working on the musical Young Abe Lincoln. Recent credits
include This Wonderful Life and To Kill A Mockingbird
at Barrington Stage Company; Sam Shepard’s Suicide in B Flat
with the Williams College Summer Theatre Lab; Rewind: A
Cantana for Voice, Tape, and Testimony at the 62 Center for
Theatre and Dance, an opera giving a theatrical voice to South
African victims of apartheid. Berridge was also the resident
sound designer for Flamenco-Vivo: Carlota Santana for 4 years.
Jenny Kenyon, Costume Designer
Jenny
lives with her husband William and her daughter Delaney in State
College, Pennsylvania. She has worked as a free-lance Costume
and Set Designer in New York City and at Regional and Summer
Theatres across the United States. Kenyon served as the
Assistant Costume Coordinator for the Radio City Christmas
Spectacular and was affectionately referred to as “The Bear
Girl” for her work on the Bear costumes worn in the show. A
few of the places she has worked include the WPA Theatre and the
Duplex Cabaret in New York City, OperaDelaware, The Russian
Ballet Theatre of Delaware, Lincoln Midwest Ballet, Nebraska
Repertory Theatre and Pennsylvania Center Stage. She is
currently on faculty at Penn State University, and was a
Visiting Professor at Bucknell University this past year. She
has also worked at University of Nebraska—Lincoln, Evansville
University, and Manhattanville College.
